Name:Romilda Sigi Vane
Meaning: romilda -from the Germanic elements hrom "fame" and hild "battle" and sigi - a Germanic name similar to sige which means "victory".
origin: Her parents wanted her to have a strong name that would help her stand up for herself no matter what life handed her. Her first challenge, being the only girl with a handful of boy cousins.
Nickname: Romi (she hates her full name as it always sounds so formal)
Blood: Almost pure, her mother's grandmother is the only Muggle in the family.
Wand: 11 inches, oak with a cedar handle, veelas hair core
Red Cedar and Oak are known to be protective woods and will guard against evil thus warding off the Dark Arts. Red Cedar and Oak are also used for money and love charms and are father emblems. The addition of Veelas Hair makes it a very fiesty wand.
Boggart: Herself as an old cat woman.

General appearance: Romilda has the average height of a 15 year old girl. She isn't skinny, but she isn't plump. She has shaped up quite nicely as she has started growing up.
Personality: Being an only child has shaped Romilda into who she is today. She loves the feeling of sisterhood brought by house unity because she never had any siblings. Yet, she also wants her way as often as possible and will do just about anything she can think of to get what she wants. (Like trying out for Quidditch during 4th year just to be near Harry.) However, once it is clear that she definitely cannot have her desire (one of which definitely is not Ronald Weasley), she is willing to back down. Still, backing down often means living vicariously through others who get to do the things she longs to do herself. Sometimes she may push to far without realizing it and will usually back down once her over anxiousness is pointed out.

Recent AttitudesAfter the chocolate cauldron fiasco with Ron, Romilda has basically been brushed off by most of the boys at Hogwarts for fears that she will bewitch them as well. Still, she hasn't given up on going after Harry what she really wants. She has just learned to be a bit more secretive in her methods.

One way she is perfecting her methods is by paying extra close attention in Potions and Herbology. They are her favorites though like all 5th years she is taking the core OWL classes. Her electives include Care of Magical Creatures and Muggle studies. What better way to learn about ways to manipulate others than by studying beasts and ignorants.
